Meet up with the Celtic lot in the Five Bells Inn, then onto the Wales V England match at Brewery Field.
Post match back to the Five Bells were they are hoping to lay on a bit of entertainment and a good drink!!

Sunday we play the Barbarians in a TML fixture then its the long trip home!

In the mean time we have our opening fixture in the Huddersfield Touch League Tuesday Night.

We have applied to the League for this to be classed as a TML fixture as it was arranged several months before the date of this years Grand Final, on the understanding that last years GF was played on the 25th of October and so this game would have fallen within the current season.

We have asked that the match either is classed as a 2009 or 2010 fixture.

If classed as a 2009 fixture it would have no bearing on the final league table as neither side is capable of catching the two finalists (York Crusaders and Hull).


Which ever way it would seem to us that it would be unfair to penalise the Celts in particular and the Swarm as well for that fact the GF date was announced AFETR the pre arranged date of our fixture, and as we along with Leigh are the only side to make the effort to visit the Barbarians this season again it would show support for this outpost club.

Wales here we come!!
