After the end of the domestic season last weekend, we can´t wait for the start of the World Cup, and we guess you´re the same. But it is still a whole nine days until England run out at St James Park in Newcastle to face the terrifying prospect of a game against the tremendous side from Samoa. Nerves will be jangling, and spines will be tingling.
But why wait a week, there are plenty of warm-up games coming up over the next few days to either get yourself to and experience, or to watch on the small screen.
There are three games being played at the same venue on Friday, the first in the Inter-Services game with the Army Women facing the Royal Air Force women at 13:30 (Live on Twitch) before their male counterparts kick off at 17:00 (On OurLeague). The third is an international test match between England and Fiji with a 19:45 kick off as Shaun Wane gets a chance to scrutinise and fine tune his squad. All games are being played at the AJ Bell Stadium in Salford and games two and three will be carried live on the newly branded RLWC App (previously OurLeague).
On Saturday, the Sportsman on YouTube will carry the International Test Match between Scotland and the England Knights at 13:30, while there is a Pay-Per-View game between Wales and Lebanon on OurLeague at 15:00. Later in the day at 18:00 the Leeds Rhinos take on New Zealand at Headingley as the Kiwi´s prepare for their World Cup campaign. The New Zealand game is also on Pay-Per-View on OurLeague if you can´t make it there in person.
All that remains for the weekend is for the World Cup Launch, which will again be streamed by OurLeague on Monday afternoon.
