The draw for the third round of the 2021 Betfred Challenge Cup took place at Victoria Park on Monday morning with the assistance of Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden, drawing out all of the ties.
The four sides who progressed through the second round over the weekend; Featherstone, Swinton, York and Widnes, were joined by the twelve Super League sides including the holders, the Leeds Rhinos, with all ties to take place over the weekend of the 9th, 10th and 11th April.

Technical issues caused a delay in the live coverage but once the gremlins were coaxed out of the cables the full draw was as follows;
York City Knights v. Wigan Warriors
Swinton Lions v. Warrington Wolves
Hull KR v. Castleford Tigers
Catalans Dragons v. Wakefield Trinity
Featherstone Rovers v. Hull FC
St Helens v. Leeds Rhinos
Leigh Centurions v. Huddersfield Giants
Salford Red Devils v. Widnes Vikings
Two of these games will be chosen by the BBC for broadcast live on Saturday 10th April, with the other games likely to be available across a range of other media outlets including OurLeague and The Sportsman.
Sides progressing through the third round will play in the fourth round, the Quarter Finals, over the 8th and 9th of May and the Semi-Finals on the 5th and 6th of June with the Final at Wembley being scheduled for the 17th July.
