Super League have announced the opening fixtures, scheduled for the weekend of the 26th, 27th and 28th March.
All fixtures will be playes as double headers behind closed doors at the Emerald Headingley Stadium in Leeds with defending Champions St Helens taking on 2019 Grand Finalists and 2020 Challenge Cup Finalists, the Salford Red Devils in the opening game.
In a change to the initial schedule for the season, there will now be 25 games including the Dacia Magic Weekend. The season finale is still planned for Old Trafford on the 9th October.
The opening games are as follows;
Round 1, Emerald Headingley Stadium (all games live on Sky Sports Arena);
Friday, 26th March (both games live on Sky Sports Main Event and Arena)
St Helens v Salford Red Devils, 18:00

Saturday, 27th March (both games live on Sky Sports Main Event and Arena)
Wakefield Trinity v Leeds Rhinos, 15:00
Catalans Dragons v Hull KR, 17:15pm
Sunday, 28th March (both games live on Sky Sports Mix and Arena)
Hull FC v Huddersfield Giants, 12.30
Castleford Tigers v Warrington Wolves, 14:45
Full fixtures for the 2021 Betfred Super League season will be published on Friday 26 February, marking one month to go until the new season kicks-off.
