With all Rugby League now suspended until the 3^rd of April, after a change to the government’s advice on mass gatherings, there must be some doubt as to whether the sixth round of the Coral Challenge Cup will go ahead on the weekend of the 4^th and 5^th of next month.

But the draw had taken place with the remaining eight Super  League clubs being thrown into the mix to join the sides which progressed through the fifth round at the weekend.

The draw was initially planned to be held in New York but travel restrictions and common sense led to it being relocated to RFL headquarters in Salford.

Featherstone Rovers, Sheffield Eagles, Newcastle Thunder, Widnes Vikings and York City Knights joined the remaining eleven Super League sides, the only top flight omission being the Huddersfield Giants, who were eliminated by the Toronto Wolfpack.

League legend Paul Sculthorpe and Mike Redfern 'Superfan' made the draw in front of the TV cameras, but no audience.

The draw in full was as follows;

Wigan Warriors v. Warrington Wolves

York City Knights v. Castleford Tigers

Widnes Vikings v. Catalans Dragons

Wakefield Trinity v. Featherstone Rovers

Newcastle Thunder v. Toronto Wolfpack

Leeds Rhinos v. Hull KR

Salford Red Devils v. St Helens

Sheffield Eagles v. Hull FC

Games are scheduled to be played on the 4^th and 5^th April and games will be selected for televising.
