Great attacking performance, gloss taken off slightly by those two soft tries at the start of the second half, although the second one had a HUGE forward pass in the build up. Wonderful day out today - didn't sample the carnival though (looked fun), sampled some very well kept Ale at The Greyhound before the match.

Great turnout 1815 - looked like more than that to me - big applause to Tim and everyone involved in the promotion & marketing. Good atmosphere - hope we can get as many down to t'Lane a week on Thursday.

No disrespect to Swinton, they're not a bad side, but we really showed our attacking prowess today. Just need to concentrate and smarten up in defence for the full 80.

Hirsty's 2nd try was ridiculous! Had no right to go over from 10 metres out and 3 defenders with him

Great in attack mode but now and then the defence seems to go to sleep. We can get away with this against the weaker teams but the better teams might well exploit this more than Swinton could.

From the time of scoring our first try against Leigh we went 80 minutes without conceding a single point (20 mins vs Leigh, 60 mins vs Doncaster) and scored 79 points in that time. We were just a bit complacent at the start of the second half yesterday.

I'm not overly concerned.

Great stuff, a big win and subsequently going top (albeit after one game) will hopefully convince any new comers that were there today. 6 wins in a row and hopefully we can make it 7 next week!

Was a good win, we did let in some soft tries though but they have got a good little squad there, especially their backs with Higson, Armstrong and Dodd. Their number 6 was a handful as well but can't remember his name.

I thought attacking wise we were excellent, some great on the line defending but also some silly mistakes in defence but we will sort those out.

Im delighted at the crowd, great to see such numbers, excellent work by Tim and co. My only concern is how we keep them coming back. Thats whatll get us there.

To be fair yesterday was a great game for newbies. Plenty of tries, nice weather and a decent atmosphere.

If a percentage of the kids that came in for free start bringing their parents along then we're doing something right.

The people that came to watch us in SL are still out there, they just need tapping in to.

In 2006 we won the last 13 games of the season, which I am sure is the club record. 14 if you include the friendly at Donny on 27 December 2006

An excellent win,scoring points for fun,Look at the players not even playing,It shows that we have a cracking squad (the best since reforming) Attendance 1815,The thing is weve always had the one-off or couple of decent attendances at the start of the season but then rested on the laurels and they then dipped down to the usual 1k or under,1815 should be the minimum for a game now and not just rest at that,If you could get an average for the season at 1815 that would be a fantastic effort,All about momentum and need to keep it going all through the season both on and off the pitch.At the end of the season we could even be spoke off being "MASSIVE".
