| I don't have much of a problem with Aston's comments to be honest, can understand his frustration. That said, the Emmitt try was one where he needed his touch judges to help him because he was unsighted. And with the slowing the play at drop outs (assume he's referring to the second half ones, as Platt's was a genuine injury which ultimately cost us a try), sadly, it's one of those things that ideally no team should do, but every team does do. Especially when it's the 6th or 7th drop out!
There'll be a few decisions that Rowley could point to as well. Including one suspect forward pass leading to a try. Ultimately though, it wasn't a refereeing decision that made the difference, it was a stupid last tackle play at 22-18 that opened the door for Leigh.

Nor was he helped by the over-exuberant celebration of the Leigh players pretending that the try had been legitimately scored,or the actions of the Leigh players as Michael Knowles began to start to explain,in vain, what had occurred.

Imho, we don't have any full time players. Rather, we have full time workers whose duties include playing.'"
Well I suppose thats why it's in your opinion.Would have thought having 12 full timers and the rest part time will in itself become a problem along the way..If you have a dozen full time, why didn't the club go all out?
I'm not saying its wrong and your club knows best. But for me I predict a little turmoil in that changing room at some point.

He'd have only needed the help of the touch judge on the West Stand side to be honest..

Bulls had an ongoing thing with Saints for a few years, and Leeds took over then ......... not a lot of love lost there. Fortunately there's only one club from the dark side in this league and plenty of Yorkshire derbies.'"

We're committed to not over-spending.
Why do you see it as a problem ?

..... who said "no try".
Then there was Tommy Goulden's try - one touch judge said "no try", the other said "no idea". Hardly working as a team, were they ?

To be fair, you've got a supporter who reckons no less than 21 of the squad are good enough to play $uperleague.
So no transfer frenzy needed - should you be promoted.

I knew the one on that side had gone No Try, which begs the question, why, when the official has his view obscured in the way he did, does he not defer to the TJ?

Over-confidence, pal. Or X-ray vision.
One of the two, anyway.

Probably.
I had a decent enough view from where I was to make a decision on whether it was or not.

Fair comment. As I stated your club know's best. I must admit the Superleague keeps being mentioned, but we all seem to be forgetting the middles 8's in order to get there. That will be a league of it's own.
Hope Sheffield are there..
