No, I mean football. Association football which is what the sport is called, soccer is an alternative name used in the USA and Australia primarily to distinguish between American Football and Aussie Rules respectively.

The football season overlaps with the rugby season for March (think we might have even played a couple of NRC games in February over the last couple of seasons), April, May, August and September.

Toulouse yes, can't agree with Barrow being enjoyable. Takes a day and a half to get there (or at least it feels like that) and I've only ever seen us win once. And it's a dump, and I'm scared of seagulls crapping on me, and I got started on by a young spectacled chap with saliva running down his chin this season. Not one I'll be missing.

As long as you don't forget the "association" bit, there'll be no problem.

Right I'll expect you to refer to it as association football from now on then rather than soccer.

Although I'll accept football as a shortened version.
