| What a Day! A Job well done - it's the defence wot wun it!
A big well done to Donny as well.
Great support as well - we may be small in number but we've got big gobs and the largest reportoire of cheesy eighties renditions in the Championship   
The last 20mins at Leigh was the longest 20 mins of my entire life, but the last 10mins yesterday was pretty nerve-wracking as well - although to be fair, Fev's attack was pretty inept by their standards.
Watched some of the match today - our 2nd try was absolutely awesome!
Still can't believe it - we're CHAMPIONS! |

That would be amazing. Will be happy to pay the cost of the DVD and postage etc - can't get Premier Sports on Virgin and there seems to be no online highlights! |

Yep. Hope it's the Prem Sports coverage - would like to check out what Nobby and company had to say about the game. I bet Dave Woods (as in the BBC commentator, not the large coach) was loving it. Bet they all got overexcited by QLT's try - they were in raptures about him (rightly) at the Leigh SF. |

I found a bar in Zakynthos that actually shows Rugby League. Watched Catalan v Rhinos, Wigan v Rhinos (wtg Rhinos - Kevin Sunfield DG worth its weight in whatever) and St Helens v Warrington but sadly they didn't have the one that mattered. Fortunately my son Matthew kept updating me. Congratulations, great win and pleased as punch for everyone at the club.
PS have you ever tried watching RL in a 6 TV bar, 5 of them showing soccer matches from various parts of Europe at the same time as a karaoke evening is under way? Couldn't hear any commentary at all.That of course may have been a good thing.

I was in Zankynthos for the Halifax away game in the league (though I suspect we were in different parts!), one of only two games I missed this year (Donny in the NRC).

Not giving away any secrets here but Pat (my wife) & I got well and truly pickled, after we heard that Eagles had won, on one of the peasant wines. Drank 2 litres between us and only paid €3.50 (around £2.80). Some hangover next day though but as it was worth it.
