Once again a brilliant weekend, probably the best yet, (despite the fact I'm now having to use TWO walking sticks.) The game was pretty ordinary, but as has been said, these are the games you need to win. Many thanks to everyone to helped me out when my knees went on Saturday night about ten minutes from the end and throughout the rest of the weekend. Saturday night in the Melting Pot was amazing, and helped me forget my pain (and how to balance.) If Toulouse go back to the French League next year, I reckon we ought to go out for a game when the Eagles aren't playing. If they are still in the Championship, bring it on!!!

glad you had a good weekend - most people do when they experience Toulouse - it is a great city,completely sports daft so a successful TO13 set up would be great - the potential is there but unfortunately the management & coaching abilities aren't.A decent coach would transform this bunch of players into a fair side.
Sorry to hear about the knees - what's your problem ?,cos' mine are beginning to get bad and working is becoming more and more tricky.
Did you stand all through the game ? if so,next year if you come,i'll get you a place in one of the stands.

Yes Martin, Saturday night in the Melting Pot was one of the best I have had in many years, despite being given a somewhat painful bite on my nipple by a well known Eagles forward & the bruises to prove it, the trip was great.

The game wasn't that bad. With the ball we were pretty poor but the defence was awesome. Toulouse twice had to kick from around their own 30 and they handed the ball over in their own half twice. Not to mention the goal line defence.

I predict Friday.

Defence won us the game and - in particular - the territorial advantage that we enjoyed.

yeh,that's fair,the defence did well against some decent TO13 pressure - Mark Aston & Hendo praised the defence post match but were critical of the rest of the game plan.MA was particularly keen on these types of games where the team/squad get together for a few days 'undisturbed' for team bonding etc.He is very much hoping they come back next year for more of the same.
Whatever your 'team' is doing is working - good luck to them,they deserve it.
