My understanding is that, to score a goal, the ball has to be kicked (inter alia) and "kick" is defined as imparting motion with any part of the leg from knee to toe inclusive, except the heel.

If any referee would like to disagree with that - well, it's not uncommon that I disagree with referees.

As best I know it is allowed, but if you did it expect a rollocking frm your coach. It's considered very unsportsmanlike.

there is no way in the world mark should step down, like the dr said who would take over? we do need a new marketing guy and someone to take some of the workload off mark but there is no way he should step down.

I have investigated this further. Even though the official rules are unclear, someone higher up the food chain than me has confirmed that it is actually not allowed. The one that happened in the Skolars game should have been scrubbed.

"KICK means imparting motion to the ball with any part of the leg (except the heel) from knee to toe inclusive."
