| Can't count our chickens!
We caught Fev off-guard last year before they played Cas & Fax's season went off the rails after winning the NRC.
The lads ought to be professional enough though.

| You hear the phrase can't take this game lightly,You can't but really we should rack up some points against Swinton,QLT and Menzie should be thinking about filling there boots,Nice Sunny evening,Should be looking for 40+ really,Wonder if the selection has one eye on the following Friday, anybody who has a slight knock then i'd be tempted to rest them.Id be tempted to rest Brambani for this game and give Corey a runout,If Bramabni got injured then Corey would be in a quarter final challenge cup against London,You couldn't make that up.

There's just Menzie.
Scotland isn't overseas.

We don't have a single quota player as far as I know.
We have a massive three players born outside of the UK, but are all signed to Sheffield Eagles.
How does it feel to be the feeder team of someone else? Serious question.
You can't be happy with the way your club is being used at the moment? Warrington reserves?
Never really had an issue with Swinton but if I could choose one team to get relegated it'd be you, because the whole dual reg farce is making a mockery of the competition, and Swinton are by far the biggest offenders.

| Born in Wellington. He's Italian.
And Daneo. Not sure if he still counts but we can't reissue squad number 23.

| ..and the ref is that infamous J Cobb............... so Swinton must be in with a chance after his performance at Barrow.
ps.....some stats for you all...........
Menzie needs 1 try to make 100 in his Eagles career
[Daryl scored 114 in 312 games at a strike rate of 0.365 tries per game, Menzie is on 0.755 tries per game (in 131 games)]
"Q" needs one try for 80... his strike rate is 1.03 tries per game
Hendo's next game is his 90th for Eagles
Misi needs 4 tries for 50 and 4 more games for his 100th
Knowles next game will be his 50th.
Dom needs 1 goal for 70 and 1 point for 160 in championship games this season; 5 points for 450 in Eagles career
Menzie, Q, Mitch, Dom, Hendo have played in every Championship game this season.

Swinton didn't invent dual reg nor have they broke any rules, Hunslet have used Dual Reg just as we have, so have Leigh.
Am I happy about it well let's look at the harsh realities we don't run a reserve team so have no way of bringing on our own talent in which case we have to look at fringe players from other clubs or those who just want to move on aka Tom Armstrong who you got from us. The link with Warrington offered Swinton enhanced training facilities and access to other areas of sport such as conditioning coaches, performance analysis non of which are available on crowds of 400 - 500., we would have been stupid to turn down that offer which of course came at a price of offering Warrington somewhere for them to develop their young talent. Yes we have used Adrain Morley, Lee Briars and Paul Wood this season but are you telling me that if those players were offered to any of the lower teams and indeed the teams in the higher half of the table they would turn them down...I doubt it. Yet nothing is said when Hunslet include Richard Moore and Whitehaven Adi Gardner.
Trust me i'd like nothing better than to get back to the days when all teams ran an A-Team and supplemented their squad from those ranks but sadly RL isn't like that anymore it sold it's soul to Sky and Super League.
You and others can have their opinion about Swinton but remember I didn't ever see the RL actively trying to save us when we hit hard times back in the 80's loosing our ground etc.......their was no search for a Rich benefactor then as was the case recently with Salford Bradford and will be the case if Castleford hit the buffers. Other clubs have been allowed to die, just look at Blackpool and Bramley all because they fall outside of the Super League remit. So if it means we link with Warrington and their players play a part in keeping us in this division then for now I can live with it.

| I actually don't have an issue with dual reg as a concept, as long as it is used correctly. No issue with Warrington youngsters turning out for Swinton to get some first team exposure, but the likes of Morley, Briers etc playing for one game makes it look like a reserve grade competition. And yes, absolutely the same applies to Hunslet's attempts to play Kylie Leuluai.
Do I blame Gary Chambers for playing the likes of Briers and Morley? Not at all, he'd be daft to reject them. The blame probably lies at the feet of Warrington themselves, and for the RFL for allowing it to happen.
It can't be easy for loyal Swinton fans like yourself, hope you 'get your club back' so to speak and reclaim your own identity soon because, from the outside looking in, it looks like it's quickly disappearing. Which is a shame for such a traditional club.

| Marshy - you're preaching to the wrong folk when you plead poverty and say you've no rich benefactor or huge crowd.
Because we haven't either.
