Statistics and Betting Update
Interesting but very tough game for us today if we repeat the perfomance of last monday we have a slight chance however Leigh have only lost once (was at the keepmoat) since the beginning of last season they have won every match this season by 12 points or more, however they have not come up against a defence as good as ours this season but unfortunately they have a slightly better defence than ours and have conceded just a fewer points than us this season.

Prediction Leigh by 10
Bookies have Leigh favourites by 12 you could argue a case for backing Sheffield +12 but i am happy to enjoy the match without having a bet

In other matches can doncaster finialy get a victory possibly not but not sure dewsbury should be 14 point favourites

Will Featherstone lose again ? quite possibly they have a tough match at Batley and are only 2 point favourites.

Bradford 20 point favourites home to London which seems slightly high but hopefully they can do us a favour and win

Halifax should win comfortably home to workington they are 22 point favourites

relegation battle at hunslet against Whitehaven hunslet are playing the better rugby at the moment but 10 point favourites is slightly high

Interesting stats there 'duggs'. However, as always, they can be misleading. For instance, in our run up to the game, we have played two more of the 'fancied' teams than the Eagles - Bradford and Halifax - so we aren't really comparing like with like, with points scored and conceded.

That said, the one factor that we can't quantify, is that we haven't yet played each other. Unfortunately (for us) we are missing a few first choice forwards - Moimoi, Wilkes, Spencer and Penkywicz (a big miss there) - so we may not be as potent up front.

I'm sure that our coaching team will be well aware of the threat always posed by Sheffield - but whether we will be able to cope with that threat, makes for a very interesting and close encounter. Despite the form of both defences, I fancy there will be quite a few points scored, as there are some extremely talented backs on display.

Every club will have an injury crisis at some time during the season.
