It wasn't the best tonight but job done the first half was really poor with the ref seemingly a wire fan! but that said we weren't at the races. I didn't think swinton offered much if anything
The start to the second half simply blew them away and it was game over hirst got man of the match nozza was great as usual and mezie back to form

As for the ref being a Wire fan (like we ain't heard that old chestnut before.) Can you please explain how he gave you possession at the end of the first half when the ball was cleanly fielded by our player.

We were nothing like our best, perhaps minds on next week which is somewhat unavoidable. Swinton were a really poor side.

I agree with you Marshy about us getting the ball at the end of the first half, confused me.

Can't remember, but he gave us a penalty, so it'll be for obstruction or summat.

I think to sugest we are a poor side is unfair. What we are,as with a number of teams in the bottom half,is a side which is a million miles away from competing with the top four or five in the championship.

I simply can't to be fair, there was a couple of knock ons given against us in that first half where the ball IMO clearly went backwards saying that the ball shouldn't have gone loose anyway as said far too many dropped balls.How long were swinton players allowed to hold down tackled players i won't drivel on about it its done now

Still not sure how the officials gave that forward pass that cost the Eagles a try. All three were nowhere near up with play. Some very pernickity penalties that helped to make this game one of the worst I've seen in ages. Having said that, the ref and TJs didn't keep knocking on, which was the main problem.

As for Swinton, I wouldn't say they were poor as I think that's disrespectful. They are certainly struggling to be anywhere near the top 5, but they aren't the only ones.

I've not been able to get to many games this year, but I've seen one very high quality game (Halifax in the league at BL) and three or four really poor ones, where Sheffield played at about 50% of their best and still won at a canter.
