| Looking forward to seeing how Molloy goes for us. James Webster has said a majority of his squad will be getting a runout during the Easter period, hence the one month loan.
As for the Broncos, if Keyes and Thomas are in the halves for our game then we need to get into their ribs as they're only young lads. Hopefully Briggs/Brambani do a job on them kicking-wise.

| Betting Update - My Handicap predictions are very similar to the bookies so I wont be having a bet although i was close to selecting Doncaster but would like to see a few more results this season before risking my hard earned money, Donny are +8 points against Fev with rain forecast so potentially a low scoring game Doncaster played well against London and Fev struggled to beat Hunslet.
In our game London are Favourites by 4 or 6 Points which looks about right and in response to Whitehven's points difference, bradford are 44 point favs which seems a bit high in the rain

No reserves, but resilience, persistence and determination are omnipotent.: |
|
| I had no right to be so entertained with the cold swirling wind and driving rain;but as I was, thanks to the coaching staff and players.
Big well done to Jon Molloy - not least for remaining so still while Ritchie Mathers remined so worryingly still.
I hope for a full, and as slow as it takes, recovery to Ritchie Mathers.
Quite peeved our MoM conceded 2 silly penalties. Can't keep doing that.
Well done to the supporters for turning out and cheering 'em on! They were pretty good!
Well done to Broncos for playing with such spirit despite the scoreline and having to witness 2 worrying incidents/injuries.

| Pleased to see Jon Molloy do well for you. He's had some good games for us, and always scores! What happened with him and Mathers?

Energetic Eagles Batter Broncos - wp.me/p3JxPK-vi
Big wraps to Jon Molloy who had a top debut. All our forwards did well today, and it was nice to see most of the three-quarters score tries.
Best wishes to Richie Mathers, Joe Keyes, and Nick Slyney who were all injured in today's game.
For the Eagles, roll on Whitehaven! Looking to go up there and if you are too, I'd register your interest to the club one way or another. Let's try and get up there and give the lads the support they deserve!

Molloy made a 40m break from a restart, Mathers tackled him awkwardly and he was prone on the floor for a good five or so minutes. Needed oxygen when he came off too. Not nice to view at all.

| Firstly everyone involved in the game, officials, volunteers, both teams and the spectators for turning up on such a foul afternoon. It was snowing when we left home in Parkhead (S11) and we wondered what to expect. Secondly we hope that the injuries sustained by the Broncos players are not too serious. Thirdly roll on summer rugby.
Finally what a tremendous win by the Eagles. Way beyond our expectations. Huge congratulations to the team. I hope it is a good omen for the rest of the season.

| Excellent Result gives hope for a top 4 finish i know it is early days but it looks like Leigh and Bradford should finish 1st and 2nd Fev should get a place in the top 4 so that leaves the rest us (minus Whitehaven Workington and Hunslet who will be playing for relegation) to fight out the other place should be an exciting season
I could not get to the game it sounded we created less errors how did the pitch hold up after 2 rugby games in heavy rain ?

| Was the reported attendance for this match (361) correct?

| There seems to be an issue with including folk who pay to see both games. I'm thinking that 361 refers to the number who turned up after 3ish to just watch the Eagles game.

The pitch was fine, duggs. It's not the Baseball Ground. Groundsmanship has made advances in the last 40 years.
Except in Halifax, obviously.

| Having watched that again - there is no way that the London "try" was grounded! But hay oh - hope we don't lose a place by a 6 point points diff
