| Bu99er.
You're right.
It's the next available meeting in the Grand Finals series.

| Don't worry - I heard Ben Thaler say he didn't think there was anything in it whilst they were boarding up the lad to carry him off.

| The RFL have painly broken their own rules it states "The RFL Operational Rules Tribunal meet every Tuesday (except Bank Holiday weekends where the meeting is moved to Wednesday) to hear any disciplinary cases that have been referred to them.
Super League cases are heard the Tuesday following the incident, and National League, Reserve and Academy cases are heard the week after.
Please see the documents for the Disciplinary Rota showing dates of hearings and the make up of the Panel."
Tubby really needs to seek an explanation - doesn't matter if he's pick or not they should stick to the rules but then do they ever!

But it's a Championship case, not a National League case

| Read on and it goes on to say it's the next available meeting during the Grand Finals series.
Anyway, Ben Thaler said it was nothing - see post above.

| Given his previous run-ins with the disciplinary and ban for a "reckless challenge", I'd say it was near nailed on that Menzie will get a ban. I hope not for his sake as much as the team's - it would be harsh for him to miss the GF - but I'm pretty sure Tubby is resigned to losing him for Sunday's game.
In which case, Jonny Woodcock could return. I spoke to him earlier and he reminded me that he was MOTM in the 2006 NL2 play-off final. Would be a great story if he did play, given his horror injuries over the last two years.

| I hope Menzie doesn't get banned but I won't lose TOO much sleep over it if he does, Jonny Woodcock has played brilliantly since coming back in and I don't think anyone would begrudge Corey Hanson a starting berth given the season he's had.

Yes. Corey is a top lad and it would be great to see a 'proper' homegrown Eagles youngster in the side. He's got so much potential and wouldn't let the side down.
I'd be more disappointed for Menzie than the team if I'm honest.

| Without wishing to sound too insensitive he should've probably thought about it before he dropped someone on their head, having just got back from a two game ban for ramming someone's head into the floor. I love Menzie as much as the next guy but he does seem to be having a number of brainfarts recently.

| I don't really care if he plays or not ESO. BUT, I can't agree with Thaler/Griff on this one. Looking at it again, it looks reckless to the point of dangerous. I wouldn't be surprised at a ban but I'm not fussed either way to be honest.

| He wants banning for a good spell before he seriously injures someone, i blame Aston when he smashed Hepworths head into the ground, Aston said it was nothing, well it was and maybe if he had took him to 1 side had a word and worked on his technique this may not of happened and he might of been playing in a final. Each player has a duty of care to his opponent, menzie doesnt

Don't talk wet - he is a hard hitting centre - he has played against some of the best sides in the world and they have high regard for him in Austrailia, he hits hard but fairly , he only gets pull up by refs who go soft for the opposition.
