I never thought i would find myself complimenting Mr Holroyd but hats off for that gesture. As much as i despise him always having the game of his life against us, a big thank you is in order.

However, the way Barlow and Worrincy conducted themselves last night was depolrable. The behaviour of the halifax photographer in front of the south stand terracing was even more childish and immature than i would expect from my 7-year old niece. For a man of that age to behave in that way is a new low.

Bill Arthur - somebody please hand this man his P45 ASAP. He spent about five minutes saying that he couldn't believe that the video ref had deemed the pass backwards (for the first try in second half). No, the video ref said nothing about it, because he wasn't asked, and the referee cannot ask the video ref for potential forward passes!!

You'd think a professional commentator might actually know the rules but clearly I was wrong.

The pass looked forward to me but even if it was, like HL says, you cant go to the screen for those. I think my commentary is much better anyway.

I have watched it again on the tv and I too think it was forward, but swings and roundabouts. Your second try (forgot the guys name) was about 5 yards offside at the kick then he took the ball off of Shad, but the ref didnt ask the video ref to look at that. Fair play.

Comes and goes, i wont criticise the ref, he did ok for me. Ill agree about Royston, a class player.

So it's acceptable to stick two fingers up at the crowd?

If I had done that back I'd have probably been thrown out. As a person who has been a match official in Championship games, I find the behaviour appalling. Find my attack unacceptable if you like, but it's the truth.

I didn't realise feeling elation warranted offensive gestures toward away supporters. I don't care who he is he could be the bleedin Pope, the man is a muppet.

get off Bill Arthurs' back - he's a good lad - I know him well enough to know that he will admit to not being the brightest spark when it comes to RL know how but in his words "i'm learning as I go along" - so give the guy a break !
The thursday night games have been great entertainment this season with him and the 'gruesome twosome ' in tow so here's to next season...
