Dont get your hopes up has this ever happened before ? i would say yes probably in most matches for very small periods during interchanges however if they had an unfair extra man advantage when they scored than perhaps they should have some sort of penalty

They had a penalty,2k fine, appealed against it.Also something AC missed was the warning they received from the RFL for the Leigh game which they also appealed against.

Probably the more serious of the two appeals is the appealing against a warning as your undermining the governing body. And they won't take that lightly.

Not just a case of yeah or ney when a club appeals..If you lose the appeal it often carries further penalties.

It happened a couple of years ago - Salford v Castleford.
Salford were fined 10k,I think.They appealed and were then deducted points.

I got the impression following that the points deductions would always be the future punishment;as is the case in Australia.
The Salford incident involved a tackle made near the defending try line.

Eagles are favourites by 8 or 10 Points this is a surprise as i thought it would we would be four or six point favourites

the other big game of the day is Bradford v Leigh again i was surprised that leigh are 10 point favourites perhaps the compilers are thinking that Bradford might start resting some players for the middle 8's even if bradford win today they are unlikely to win the league due to Leigh's game in hand and much better point difference.

The rest of the matches seem to be priced correctly Batley are in a false position at the bottom of the table and Hunslet are playing terrible at the moment so Batley -12 is tempting however they only score 17 points a game on average.

For people going to the first game of the double header Halifax are favourites by 24 points

Dewsbury are in excellent form however if Halifax are winning in the early game they can no longer qualify for the middle 8's so Whitehaven might need it more so +10/12 points is worth considering finally London have got the long journey to Workington (they lost away to Whitehaven earlier in the season) both teams need the win but again if Halifax are winning London cant qualify but London are only 6 point favs I was expecting a little bit more so not bet here

A curates egg of a performance for me - never have I seen as many individual errors from usually reliable players.I'm just pleased they have got all the years mistakes out of the way.

Full credit to them for coming back from 10 points down.They fully deserve their chances against Super League opposition.

Just hope we catch Hull KR when they are emotionally and physically drained after a Challenge Cup game.

Defensively we need to improve as I thought we were as slow to react as the 'soccer' stewards were with the potty-mouthed few from Fev who,fortunately,were outnumbered by the proper rugby league fans from West Yorkshire.

Another good challenge next week in an area of the country which has produced a healthy number of Super League players in recent years.
