I didn't see/hear that but because I don't think it will be Dave Woods,to me,and hopefully a number of players in the squad,it will be an added incentive to win the game, convincingly.
IF he did run the Eagles down it may have been deliberate banter with Hendo as they were together at Castleford in 2005 when Cas won promotion.
As a PS I notice the followers of York City Knights, where the players are without training facilities and Stadium, seem to have fallen out with the chairman who they backed when Dave Woods went to court.
Seems a female member of York council sussed the chairman out.Just a possibility my favourite assiduous Aussie, and the female member of York council are the only ones to utter the truth rlHERErl
Who'd have thunk it...?
Who knows what goes on behind the scenes at professional sports clubs,eh?

I saw in the LE that the new York Knights board are now talking to the council again so hopefully for York things might be back on track

| The YCK situation is a peculiar one. The chairman steps down due to breakdown in talks with the council then the coach (James Ford) then puts his hat in the ring to negotiate with the council on behalf of the club. Hopefully they get it sorted as I didn't mind York as an away day.
As for Whitehaven, let's hope James Coyle's first match in permanent charge of Whitehaven ends in defeat!

| Michael Knowles is far superior to Allen - and Mark Aston should know all about him, having coached him for Ireland.
I do hope the loan of Jon Molloy continues, either for the remainder or each possible month,as the dual reg between rlWakefield And Londonrl throws up some interesting possibilities for the club we are still to play on at least 2 occasions.
Awaiting to see what dual reg 'Haven have, from Widnes, for Sunday...

I know Declan Hulme featured against Bradford. They won't be getting Tom Gilmore though, that's for sure.. www.londonbroncosrl.com/news/bro ... e-on-loan/

| As the coach for supporters travelling to Whitehaven has been cancelled I shall be able to accommodate people into the Ford C Max I drive.
It can fit 7 in it but that is when small children travel. It will be best with 3 adults.
There will be no cost and I shall be stopping at a hostelry 8 miles south of 'Haven where mine host will be Dave Woods, former head coach.
I need to drop someone off in the morning,so staying with a start of 0930 hrs at The Penny Black seems reasonable unles someone thinks otherwise.
Please pm me;if interested.
Get there and support our hard working players.

| No Jon Molloy for the weekend, ruled out with a virus according to Matthew Young of The Star. John Davies definitely available for selection so I see a straight swap there.

| Quite by accident I came across information that Doncaster have rearranged their home game on 14th June away from The Keepmoat as work is being done on the pitch.
As that date is the reverse fixture v Whitehaven, does anyone know where the game is likely to be played, please?

Would be one for the club to answer AC, drop them an email and they'll probably get back to you in due course.

| That's a pretty impressive last 5 players on dual reg from Widnes.
It's gonna be tough in the wind and rain.
