Thought we were excellent second half. Apparently Mitch was sent off for a headbutt (according to Michael Knowles in the VP lounge after the game) so we'll see what comes of that.
Five tries between Menzie and Knowles, that left hand side is proving to be really potent for us.
Thought Pat Smith did alright at stand off, didn't reckon much to James Davey to be honest but it's early days.
26 for Q now.
Oh and the referee was an absolute joke, so inconsistent, come to expect nothing less from that clown over the last few years though. Bring back Colin Morris all is forgiven.
Drove down from Whitley Bay for this match, wondering whether it would be called off because of all the torrential rain. Glad to see that the pitch was in good nick all told. Menze's 1st try - I think he would have gone through a brick wall to score that. Much better all round in the 2nd half and was as one sided as the score indicates.
Michael Knowles was outstanding, another very hardworking performance. The referee was shocking, he needs a geometry lesson to sort his angles out etc for forward passes and offsides. Perhaps Mr Jowett can recommend a good school? I didn't see the headbutt but fair do's if it was. I hope Menzie's MOTM speech was up to his usual standard.
If anyone's having a party there is nothing like a good DJ. . .but the guy at DVS is. . . . Oh I can't be bothered with the punchline but too loud man.
