I agree it's a bit rich coming from a supporter of a club that played on a building site for ten years.

We all have our problems from time to time. It'd be nice if folk recognised that.

We all love to take the Mickey Bliss out of Sheffield and their travelling support that usually struggles to fill a tandem bike. Think your post is way over the top though.

It's just his opinion. We may have got 250/300 fans who wouldn't have been able to get there on Sunday. We'll never know. We got 1100 folk there, doubt if it would've been a lot more on Sunday.

One thing you can say ... look through the record books and there's no significant difference between attendances on Fridays and Sundays. Nothing that can't be explained away by other factors such as the weather, rival attractions, the attractiveness of the opposition, Terry Jagger's dog being poorly or taking the wife shopping or whatever.

People tend to complain because it doesn't suit them. They see whether it suits everyone else as irrelevant.

Friday night works a treat in Leeds. Stick with it, Leeds' experience suggests it's the ideal time to play in a big city.
