My best memory of DVS is nothing to do with Sheffield Eagles. It is of my grandson Charlie (who carried the Olympic Torch through Clifton Park, Rotherham last year) sprinting down the home straight as though his a*se was on fire in a 3K Fun Run in 2009 (ish) to come in 8th overall and then trip up. He is convinced he was pushed but he wasn't. I just wish I had a photograph to show the look on his face when he got up.

There was more than just me ejected that afternoon , there was about 10 of us , I spoke to a friend tonight who was also ejected , he said we were ejected ,for CHEERING to loud

Last night when a steward told a lass with a brace on her leg to take it off a seat, she told him she needed to rest it and he persisted and forced her to sit "correctly, then proceeded to shift everyone on one row so he could get to someone to tell them to take their feet off the seat in front.................... anyone would think it was a soccer match or on the best seats in a theatre.............. the steward was ushered away by two other stewards and given a b******ing...........

This in a stadium that's getting knocked down shortly .............
