Sunday 3pm at The Shay.
Let's make no bones about it, we were awful last week. Dreadful. We will have to be much better to get anything on Sunday.
Halifax aren't in the best of form themselves though. They gave Swinton a bonus point on the opening day and have since lost to Featherstone and Batley. They're there for the taking IMO if we play to our potential. Their main off season signing was Simon Brown and there is nothing he can do that Tubbs doesn't know about and won't have prepared for!

Quite an entertaining game in the end, I'm baffled as to why we only started playing in the last 10-12 minutes when the score was 24-10. To then get to 24-22, concede again and then score again, it was more gutting than it should have been. The first 68-70 minutes were poor from an Eagles perspective, a 10 point defeat would have probably been a fairer reflection of the game.
Reasonable day out, decided to go at the last minute. Given I live in Derbyshire and go can via Sheff/Manc on the train, I went via Manchester/Huddersfield on the train, rail replacement to Halifax as it was a lot easier. Time for a pint in a pub near the ground after, few Eagles fans in there I got talking to.
I'm away next weekend but we really need to beat East Leeds next week, 2 defeats on the trot is a bit worrying.

Griff , I did  in an earlier post , its looking like a cracking league this season , with all clubs taking points off each other , im not taking anything for granted , yesterday we stole the game , but that's life , come July the season will be great .A tip for my seagull friends , Ericht at Cheltenham tomorrow , im not sure which race it is in , trained by Nicky Henderson , and around 8-1 .Charlie knows . .
