| This Sunday 2pm at Owlerton Stadium.
Let's hope we don't show them too much charity for giving us half of our squad!
They're a good side though - much improved from last season, and it will be tough going.

| I was expecting them to be better than that.

| Regardless, thought we were pretty impressive today. Much more like it. Michael Knowles was an absolute machine.

| Great performance today Nozza was MOM for me, Owen looks a class above. We kept the ball much much better today and it looks like we're up and running
Well done to all the lads

| Looked much like a team today, than they did against Barrow.
Matt Garside impressed me today - really put himself about.
Don't like dissing the opposition, but Rams were awful - Grady missing an easy conversion seemed to sum their day up.

Agree with that - Knoza (that's how he spells it) is a very smart rugby player. That try from the chargedown looked easy but he had to be there to score it.

| Can I just dispel a couple of myths on the club's behalf as well!
Dewsbury, in a strange bid to make some kind of point, got changed in Dewsbury before the game then got straight back on the bus post match in their kit.
I've seen people suggesting we don't have showers for away players, which is utter nonsense. The club spent £10k installing them, yes it is the minimum required amount of shower heads, but they are there and have been used in the other games so far this season.
The changing rooms aren't massive, they're pretty basic, but they are there and are readily available for away teams to use to get changed. Pretty poor show from Dewsbury, I'd hazard a guess it stems back to the Mount St. Mary's episode. But thoroughly unprofessional from their hierarchy to let the players get back on the bus in muddy, wet kit, and without any food post match which was, as always, laid on in the Panorama Suite.
Each to their own, like. Just want to put a couple of things straight after the shiiiiiite I've read on their forum and on social media!

| Mate - every club has periods of difficulty, whether that be some kind of disaster or a planned upgrade. I try not to criticise at these points because you never know when you might want a favour yourself.
In the recent past, we've had a portakabin at Halifax. It was just temporary. Now their East Stand's open, the facilities are pretty good.
I well recall the limited facilities at Crown Flatt after the fire 25 years ago. A portakabin the size of a lorry container - much smaller than the facilities on offer on Sunday. Maybe folk from Dewsbury should bear that in mind.
Anyway - who knows ? Getting changed at Dewsbury may well have improved the outcome. We'll never know, will we ?

This is so disrespectful on so many levels. to their players and supporters, to our players and supporters, to the best traditions of the game etc etc. Dewsbury Rams RLFC really should feel ashamed at this sort of petty behaviour.

| Just watched the highlights on facebook and on the Dewsbury Fans Forum - That first try was a bit iffy no wonder their coach mentioned it afterwards - but it was the only one - can you imagine if we had got that against Fax.....I wish
