I agree with Weighman I think donny will go well this year, Leigh look very strong and Fev have impressed in pre season if we can nick that second spot we will have had another fantastic season

This is a very difficult prediction , Charlie will post his choices tomorrow , after a lie down in a Darkened room , and a rub down , with a Rugby League Express .

The Bookies expect the Super League Title race to be close with 5 teams quoted from 10/3 to 7/1 Not sure how Wigan will react to losing Sam Tomkins and cant see Huddersfield repeating last years league winners trophy St Helens and Leeds should improve and dont discount Warrington they should again be contenders and Salford will improve with the owner spending lots of money. At the bottom and remember two go down this season London will find it tough with lots of changes in the close season and Wakefield also look to have a few problems

Our Grand Final will be Fev v Sheffield , my head ruling my heart here , and I think the League placings are more important this year not the GF , I know you Seagulls think Charlie is a terrible Tipster and you are probably right , but that is what I think .Bring on the Owlerton Game . .

Happen they will be - but you talk as though no-one bothered about being top of the league last year - or will bother about winning the GF this year.

Griff you know as well as do , last season finishing Top wasn't that important , it was all about your run in the Play-offs , ours at Leigh being terrible as usual .However this coming year the Funding being so important , it is imperative to finish in the Top 2 , the teams that don't will find themselves at a big disadvantage , at least £300,000 ,and get less depending on your League position .

We at Leigh haven't experienced a GF Win , or even a GF appearance for a few years , but you Eagles have , and will know the money rewards at stake , im sure they are NOTHING like the reported £550.000 ,on offer for finishing in the Top 2 ,ask your own Tubbs what he would prefer finishing in the Top 2 , or a GF win , Charlie knows the answer .

Charlie - the players try to win every game. They'll go for the league and, once that's over, they'll go for the Grand Final. There'll be no "I'd rather win this than that" at this stage of the season.

Griff ,I know all the Players go out to win every game , if they didn't it would be pointless taking the field , my point is SOME games will be more important this season , im sure you agree the League Positioning comes first ?If you finish in the Top 2 you receive around £550,000, and fractions less as you finish further down the League , what do you get for Winning the GF ?Around £50,000 ?Give me a Top 2 Finish anyday , then worry about the Play-offs after .Tubbs knows and so does Charlie .

If the prize money is based on were you finish then they should scrap the play-offs as they have no relevance unlike last year were the grand final winners got more mney the League winners.
