Biggest game of the season so far IMO, really looking forward to it. First time we've ever got to the semis and just one step away from a massive drinking ses...err day out in Blackpool.

We were poor earlier in the season when they gave us a towelling, as they were when we gave them a similar beating in the playoffs last season. When we meet it's rare that both teams play to their potential, if they do on Friday it'll be an absolute cracker.

I'd imagine Fax will be marginal favourites by virtue of their two point advantage over us in the league standings and victory over us earlier in the season, but Featherstone showed last week that there are definitely vulnerabilities there, hopefully we can exploit them in a similar fashion to what the Rovers did.

I think your halves are better than theirs. If your forrads at least hold a stalemate, and you keep penky quiet, you will win.

Last weeks game:- Set after set in the 1st half, the fev forrads repeatedly ran at Penky making him make tackle after tackle. He was knackered in the second half - and still he kept having to make tackles - thus nullifying his threat.
I won't charge the rotund one for this advice!!

Ben Black did indeed look dangerous on Sunday - all afternoon and against Fev he almost beat us on his own!

Handforth - I've never been a fan. Far too inconsistent. Far too easily does he go missing. Batley fans however, have an entirely different opinion of him.

I know what you are saying and reliability is an issue. But then so is how the whole forum is governed, administered and moderated. On balance, weighin one up against t'other, I think I'd prefer to stay where we are.

Penky is the best player in the league IMO, always causes us problems and was the main reason they beat us by so many earlier in the season.


RL fans is waaaaaay better than Total RL, more reliable and the moderation is much more lenient, allows people to have a discussion without fear of posts being removed and also allows you to say the word 'damn' without it coming up as ****.

And on the Eagles forum every thread descended into a slanging match between the mods. And there's a bloke that talks in riddles. To himself, now.
