| One of the three bottom teams, we should win and comfortably. Fourth time we've played them this season, any strengths they have got we should have learnt to nullify by now, although they managed to get a bonus point off us at their place a few weeks ago, and do have a couple of decent players.

| I'd be disappointed if we didn't get close to 40 and also it would be nice to keep York to no more than 2 tries.
Hopefully the pitch will have dried out more and will lend itself to our style of play, saying that it looks like more rain is ont he way.
I'm following ESO on this and will say
Eagles 40-10 York
Attendance: 750
MoM: Dom Brambani just because the people who dish these out may be fed up of giving it to Q - Q to get even closer to Iva Ropati's record by bagging a couple of tries.
HL to make a dramatic comeback and return to winning ways in the H/T draw.

| After the debacle at Leigh, the lads managed to get back in the saddle against Hunslet. We [ishouldn't[/i have any problems beating York.

Looking at the weather forecast for the rest of today I'm going to amend my man of the match forecast to Duncan Goodhew

| Any truth in the rumour that the ground staff have been to Wentworth Garden centre and ordered 10000 dandelions in an attempt to make York feel at home?

| I do actually sympathise with York as I guess they are in a similar boat as us when it comes to stadia i.e they don't own their ground? It's certainly not the worse it terms of structure or pitch.
Also, I imagine losing Chris Thorman will be a huge blow to them

| No problem with CT as he's here for rest of this season & want's to end his
playing career on a high & we are at about full strength tonight for the first time
this season against you .
Think you have heavy rain forecast all day & night, just hope the games on as we
are coming over.

| Unlikely that the game would be called off KTID.
Vs Hunslet the pitch was very wet but from the stands didn't look muddy at all. There looks to be plenty of grass and I understand that the Rotherham United groundsman did a lot of work on the pitch and to be honest it's paid off. It does look the best it has done for years.
I hope you have a good evening, but not at the Eagles expense - thanks for making the journey.

Nothing to worry about WRT the game being called off mate.
Safe journey.

| All a bit predictable in the end,York did well 1st half,We wern't brilliant 1st half, some dodgy refereeing,Leahy is rubbish,A good referee in any sport is one you don't notice,we certainly noticed him,Harsh sending off,The problem you have is you hav 6 decent teams and then the gulf in class to the others is there for all to see,an idea drop three or four down from super league,Create a competitive two divison format with 1 up and 1 down,Keeping the play-offs,would be a lot more intersting,Not being funny but the games against York,Swinton,Hunslet and Dewsbury to a lesser extent are pretty pointless affairs and very predictable, the competition needs a shake-up,The RFL are too scared to ruffle the super league feathers,Drop Widnes,London,Wakefield,Cas out of super league, put them with us,Feath,Leigh,Batley,Fax,Keighley and lets make it interesting and competitve again and a little incentive of promotion,The gap between super league and this comp would be closer than it is now.
