I think they probably will. Can't say as it really bothers me though.

I'd still suspect we're far from favourites to go up, while we have got the best defence in the division we are not scoring enough points (IMO) to get it this year, but compared to where we were this time last year (or the couple of years before that) I am very happy indeed.

I would however suggest this year would be a good year to sneak into the Championship; with the restructure looming in 2013 and the likely increase in the number of teams it may mean we'd get a years grace from the drop which we would need to try and get up to speed for the difference between Champ 1 and the Champ (again IMO).

We have forthcoming games away at Swinton at Keighley which may give us a better idea of where were really are.



PS it should be noted that all of the above is based on, on the field exploits only, and you can't discount a divisional change based on other criteria in the next couple of years

I would guess Swinton and Whitehaven are in the driving seat in terms of league position and record so far. Swinton were storming it but seem to be in a slump right now.

Went along to Keighley v Swinton yesterday, cracker of a game, Swinton looked a much stronger team physically but Keighley never gave up and won 35-30

Hope they come up, be good to tick the Keepmoat off grounds list and being local derby and all that..

I know in terms of geography I suppose they should be our biggest rivals but I honestly don't get excited about playing them and it's not a fixture I will look for if they do come up. I much prefer the games against Dewsbury, Batley, Halifax and Featherstone. I also hate going to the Keepmoat, the second worst ground for atmosphere ever, second only to Coventry's Ricoh Arena. And I include DVS in that.

I always used to like going to Tattersfield until it shut in the 90's. Even with 1000 in you got a good atmosphere.

They're only up to our standards when some fool's bankrolling them, ESO.

well this season we are doing very well,and no fool is bankrolling us.

and given the number of ex donny players in your squad we cant be that bad,
