| Excellent Season so far, can the dream of superleague actually become a reality ? I am more confident now than i was two or three weeks ago however it will be tough we now know who the middle 8 teams will be (unless Hull KR pull of a shock win at St Helens and overturn a 73 point differencial with Catalan) so the likely number 1 seeds will be the winners of the Widnes v Salford match with home advantage I will say widnes. In the Championship Leigh can win the leaders shield midweek if they beat Dewsbury (they have probably won it anyway with there vastly superior point difference) will will finish 3rd if we match or better Halifax's result
Predicted Seeds
1 Widnes
2 Hull KR
3 Leigh
4 Bradford
5 Salford
6 Wakefield
7 Sheffield
8 Halifax
Possible Schedule if we finish 3rd
Home Hull KR, Wakefield, Halifax
Away Widnes, Leigh, Bradford, Salford
Home to Wakefield and Halifax look winnable aways look tough with Lots of trips to the Lancashire
Possible Schedule if we finish 4th
Home Widnes, Leigh, Salford
Away Hull Kr, Bradford, Wakefield, Halfax
Better away trips but slightly harder schedule

| Greater Manchester isn't a place. It's a council.

I hope the club has some plans for marketing the home games in an effort to boost the home support.
I hope the players have an opportunity to practice on a 3g pitch prior to playing at Widnes.
I know our new stadium is to have 4g and I have seen little complaint about the surface, but there has been with the 3g,in fact,I don't think some of the bigger Wigan Warriors names have played on it.
I reckon we should get a greater number of away support than we have had in attendance throughout the year.
Lots to look forward to,then...

They've only used Jordan Cox and Connor Robinson on DR from KR, and the latter's signed for them permanently now.
The deadline for signings is tomorrow and that's when parent clubs have to make a decision about whether DR/loan players are going to play for their team or in another.

| I was astounded by the latest news from Wakefield.
When it takes players a long time to gel they have changed full back - but Locke was then injured.
Changed the halves, and today the last of the spine of the side was changed when the hooker was swapped.
I reckon they could be in trouble.
It will be interesting if Brian Smith can get a winning run together;but I doubt it.
Will they be more committed rlthan before?rl
If one game is to be shown each Saturday,by Sky,will that be problematic to us with the round ball season about to start in August?
Bring it on...

I doubt it,as Sky will pick the more relevant game to air on the Saturday from that weeks fixtures.
But yes,you still do have the issue of 3 home games.

Be nice if they shared it out though - so we all get a look in!

| Eight clubs, seven weeks ..... unlikely that we'll all get a home game.

Well predicted!
As for the fixtures, to quote the RFL:
"... the scheduling of fixtures will be determined by a range of factors, including the fairest balance of alternate home and away games for all clubs, stadium availability and broadcast preferences."
and
"Details of all the Super 8s fixtures will be confirmed at 8.00am on Wednesday July 29: this will allow all clubs to feed in details of their stadium availability once the regular season has been completed, and give broadcasters the opportunity to select televised fixtures for the early rounds of Super 8s. The Super 8s begin on Thursday August 6."
So a few days to wait.
