Just Curious now we are full time side How much a championship rugby league player gets paid per year i would guess 15-20k for a squad member going up to 50k for our better players

Not really appropriate to discuss folks' wages on an internet forum.

I can't see them moving on to a full-time environment for less, than has been offered to stay.Can you,or would you?

I dont have kids and a relatively small mortgage so if i was a rugby player i would probably accept a pay cut to play full time but i understand players who have families and bigger comitments I just hope we dont over spend because we would need a squad of 20-25 plus coaches and admin staff our wage bill probably a minimum of 500,000 (Based on a 30 staff average 16,667) probably around the 750,000 could even top 1 million pounds so where is the money going to come from even if we play at bramall lane will probably average 1,000 1,5000 if we are very lucky SU will take their cut so even if we keep 75% (likely to be less) ticket prices £15 (Likely to be less if you factor in Season Tickets) so if we play 14 Games thats 1500 x 14 x £15 £315,000 75% thats 236,250 so we would need at least another 500,000 to break even anybody know how much we will recieve from the RFL ? the rest will need to come from sponsorship and merchindise

Overspending doesn't bother other clubs. Why should it bother us ?

Shuddersfield have accumulated losses of £13m+.

I'm sure I have read posts from Huddersfield fans stating Ken Davy pays for everything - plus they will receive Sky money.

It may help if supporters started a Squadbuilder type of thing - even if it just to pay for an overnight stay in a hotel for GI to use,should he need a little time,while pondering whether or not to sign for us.

The losses are after Sky money.

Ken Davy's company (not Ken) lends money to the Giants. He doesn't give it to them.

Not just Salford who will lose out if their benefactor leaves then.

There just isn't very many self-sustaining rugby league clubs.

More reason for more supporters to get involved,in some way.
