According to Jim Collins in The Star, moves to bring Kyle Briggs to the Eagles have stalled.

Briggs was exactly the sort of player we needed on Sunday, Walker was inept with his kicking and he'd have brought a different outlet. He's said thank you to everyone at Dewsbury and Fev on Twitter so something drastic must have happened if that's the case.
