| Say what you like about our superstars in the backs, Knowles is our best player IMO and will be a huge miss.

| Quote Duckzilla="Duckzilla"I've got full respect for Donny I like to see them do well except against us of course.
The game should be very tasty Knowles and Menzies will be big losses for us.
Eagles 24-20 Dons

Oh dear , looks like Ducky and ESO didn't know , that's 3 losses for the Seagulls now , only the Mighty Centurions unbeaten , and with our points difference its not looking bad .

| Didn't think we were even good enough to be second best today. Some big matches coming including Warrington oh sorry Leigh we could end up on the poor side of some big scores!

| Thought Sheffield played well in the 1st half , but had no ball in the 2nd half.

| First time in a long time not gone to the Derby and we go and win...
Just a point for some RL fans out there, Paul is part of the Hull Coaching set up, so this isn't just a random DR agreement this is sensible and beneficial arrangement.
The likes of Green made his name initially as a DR player with us 2 seasons ago, and only Pitts, Arundel and now Crooks are players that see some game time.
Hadley has now become a fairly permanent member of the first team set up at Hull.
We have some serious injuries and I think Paul is the first to stress that in the main the Donny lads would be generally first choice.
Morrison, Wilkinson, Leaffe (injured long time servant), Spaven (Injured), Waller (Injured), Cunningham (Injured), Wilson and Starling are all Hull lads but are signed up members of our team. With budgets tight Paul uses his local knowledge of the other leagues including amateur to source good players.
Same thing for the likes of Nicklas (also Injured), we recently lost Ward and Tuffour to work commitments so bear bones is an understatement - Chris Spurr came out of retirement in the Cup just to have enough players to field. Castle, Edwards and Kesick have returned from injury in the last 2 weeks.
We also have one of our strongest players Mike Kelly out injured along with Mick Butterfield.
By no way are we fielding RL superstars in fact most are under 20 - the guys are doing it the hard way with some weeks training being dropped.
I don't think this season we have been in a position to field in theory what would be are best 17, that said the guys are doing an amazing job.
I personally think Eagles have a great team and set up and in an ideal world we would finish top with you guys 2nd.

| Happy to stand corrected - but understanding is he has involvement in the youth development set up.
Either way and don't think it significantly changes my points.
We are a team within budget who have no highly paid stars and are correctly using the DR system.

'South Yorkshire'? A county? Nay, the county is called Yorkshire and you fellas, both Donny and Sheffield, are in the West Riding.
.
'South Yorkshire' isn't even as old as me!

| You've a bit of a cheek.
All that land in the Occupied Territories south of the Tees, surrounded by blue and yellow signs.
"Land of the Prince Bishops" indeed.
