I wasn't slagging off foreigners (even if there is too many) I was making the point the clubs had the chance to blood young British players at the highest level with the franchise system and make the GB team stronger but they didn't do it and just carried on as normal,The franchise system was good in principle but the teams didn't execute it,The RFL could have helped by making prize money smaller with larger chunks going to development and clubs rewarded with money by the amount off homegrown/British players in the team etc,It's all about money and sum clubs will chase it regardless off thought and long term implications off the effect it will have on the club,I mention no names.
