Yes I can - several times in the late 50s and early 60s a few of us used to go to Post Office Road as it was then called. The ground was little more than railway sleepers on top of slag, a few crush barriers and a tiny stand. Visits from the big clubs (Wigan, Saints, Leeds and Wakefield) would regularly attract crowds of over 10000. You didn't have much room to move!
At the time it used to be said that the "stadium" could accommodate the whole population of Fev. That wouldn't surprise me at all.
