The defensive deficiencies that have been apparent all season (look at our points against figure in the Championship - only the bottom 4 have worse records) were exposed once again by a decent team. Having said that it must have been difficult last night with I assume a fairly wet pitch and a slippery ball, so thanks to everyone for putting on what in the conditions was a pretty good game and let's be honest an awesome display by the Fax forwards, especially in the 2nd half.

They offloaded so many times in the first ten minutes of the second half. Ran us ragged in that period. People talk about lack of discipline but I don't give much credence to big penalty count differences either way. Things are rarely so black and white. And the two kickable penalties ? Both for things that had been happening all over the field throughout the game. Rugby League needs to take a good look at some of its rules. If referees penalised every infringement, it'd all be penalties. And do we need some of these ptb rules ? Probably not now the ptb isn't a contest.

Sure you can pick up on a fair few points where we could have won but we were 18-0 up - should have won from there.
