| A decent run out for the lads today against what turned out to be better opposition than we expected. I agree Sam Williamson looks a good prospect. The younger and new players showed up generally well, which bodes well for the future. However we still need to work on not giving away as many penalties, the perennial problem. MOM had to be Dom Brambani. The Workington game in the NRC will be interesting!!

| Also - if there were 600 there then I'm a bl*de.
And from where I was (the other side of the ground to everyone else) there seemed to be more Eagles fans than Donny fans. Thought there might have been a few more there from Doncaster with the good vibe there seems to be around the club at the moment.

| A thoroughly enjoyable day out.
I reckon Donny will go well in CC1 if they keep playing like that.
Agree with Dom as MOTM & Sam Williamson as a great prospect. Thought Liam H, Knowlesy & QLT put good stints in as well. A good run out - lots to work on, but plenty of positives as well.
I would say the attendance figure was correct - well boosted by eagles fans - just hope we can see as many at the Shay, POR or Mount Unpleasant!
Think I will get a season ticket afterall - just hope I don't get too many Friday Night gigs.

| Credit Doncaster, i thought they were excellent. Signs are promising there.
With regard us, we kept trying to be too smart when there was no need. The simple stuff won through in the end. I know it was a half first team-half junior team and game time will only help and i wish the young lads well. Sam Williamson looked very bright and good to see Eddie Battye get a shift. I was impressed with Michael Knowles and D Straff.
Great turnout by the Eagles fans, lets try for more for the NRC game in a few weeks.

| Thankyou for the good turnout of Eagles fans on Sunday.
The Dons should get some promotion work and special offers on to try and crack the 1,000 barrier for the gate in the NRC game.
