It's the bonus of using a supplier which doesn't make anything unique for the club, it's just out of a catalogue with the club badge on. The shirts are still made to order which is why there are the waiting times for shirts, until the club has signed off all sponsors etc then they can't be produced, they then take 8 weeks or so to make and hence the delays.

Would be good to see some old school designs though!

You are so right. I don't really like the new Dons shirt but at least it does have the bonus of not having paw prints on it. I wonder if a load of Dewsbury fans actually voted for it just to make Batley look stupid?

I'll bet that Batley won't do that again.

A similar thing happened with SWFC last season, we always have a choice of three different away kits on the club site and fans go on and pick their favourite and whichever gets the most votes is the away kit for the following season.

Last season (for this season's kit) one of the options was a rather striking pink shirt which received lots of votes from our porky neighbours in the red and white third of the city, it ended up being swapped for a grey one with blue trim which eventually won.

Any word on the new merchandise? I just had a look on the Eagles twitter page but the last tweet was "At Karl Watson's party at the Forresters" on the 19th November.
