Quote: jannerboyuk "Cheers mate, a guy on total.rl gave us a rundown but you can add some to his list no worries
Casual Des, eh? Just to let you know he is Wendall on TRL, so make your own mind up!
Real Ale Pubshttps://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f
The Tavern - On the edge of town about a five to ten minute walk away from the stadium, located on Church Street/A57. maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&sourc ... ngdom&z=16
Food Pubs:
The Friar Penketh - This is a Wetherspoons, so it is usually quite good for grabbing a bite to eat. Located on Barbauld Street, halfway down Bridge Street, which is the main route through the town centre. maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&sourc ... ngdom&z=16
There is another Wetherspoons pub, just opened at the bottom of Buttermarket Street just past the Lower Angel, although I cannot comment on it, not having been yet.
PS This is called The Premier.
Enjoy!

How could I forget!
CAMRA Pub, excellent range of beers and fantastic Sunday roast dinners.
A little further afield from the town centre on Battersby Lane, about a 10/15 minute walk from the Stadium.

| If the Celtic Crusaders are as poor as they were when I unfortunately saw them play in Newport then even a side like Warrington should put about 40 past them

Its the club that need help mate not me.
I'm serious. Watching the Celtic Crusaders v Leeds at Rodney Parade surrounded by people with free tickets and blokes dispensing warm flat beer out of the sort of thing he was probably spraying rose aphids with 2 days previously has scarred me for life.
And as a bloke who watches Cronulla Sharks that really dooes take some beating

| Not been in personally but I've heard rave rave reviews about the Albion. It's what you'd call in Warringtons Sh*t town but i'm pretty sure it won Cheshire's pub of the year, brewing it's own ales I believe.
As for the new Crusaders, completely different setup to the old club and no offence to the old guard, a thousand percent better run and from what I've seen from my visit down there (further than most people think from warrington), will make a sucess of things.
I feel sorry for you lot travelling down because despite everyone talking about Wigan, I know I'm biased but we're a better team, we'll make mince meat of you and it's harsh but oh well, I hope you guys have a top day out despite the result. Hopefully see a few of you in Wethers!

Yes we are much better than the old Celtic club
I much prefer going to the Racecourse than Brewery field, and its a bit closer to me as well
Hope you remember what you said on your post about Warrington v Crusaders, I kept it as my signature just in case you conveniently forgot!
COME ON YOU CRUSADERS!!!!!
