Top stuff for the plight of RL in Wales.
It was remarked midweek on our board that Saints are a name in Wales, and with a 6,500 crowd on to see the locals push them close, could be the start of something wonderful.

I cant see us getting a result like that at Knowsley Rd next week....... So congratulations. You might well just deserve your place in Super League and shut many of the critics up. Well Done.

Credit also off the field. I sensed a great enthusiasm as soon as I got out of my car.
The people in the food stalls and the shop were very polite despite being over run with queues.
Also the fans were great.
I was not really in favour of CC being given a franchise but after this I am glad they got one.
