Could this be the best weekend ever for Wales Rugby League?

Yesterday Crusaders under 15s did the double over Harlequins winning 18-14.

Today, Crusaders win 32-36 at Leeds and South Wales Scorpions, with their weakest side ever on paper, beat Rochdale who'd won four games in a row.

Also today, two teams of 13 year olds fought out a fantastic South Wales schools final where Cyfarthfa from Merthyr beat Maesydderwen from Ystradgynlais 48-22. A lot of the lads showed great promise and are hoping to make RL their sport of choice.

The Scorpions side had 15 Welsh players in the side (13 Welsh born for those who are picky). The Crusaders side had three Welsh players too including Lloyd White who was called up from the Scorpions.

A great day all round and adds to last week where Crusaders beat Bradford and 12 primary schools side played in a Nines tournament final in South Wales.

All is progressing well. We now need to qualify for the Four Nations in 2011.

thank you folks, really enjoyed the game today. Missing a few key players I thought we'd struggle but clearly not. Always makes the trip home better.

Anyone who stuffs Leeds is alright by me; well done again.

Wholeheartedly agree, Was a superb performance from the lads and I thought that our small clump of fans sung their respective hearts out!
Also the rhinos fans were very hospitable and friendly so all around a superb day out!

Well done on the win . It wasn't entirely unexpected .
Was a shame ,although also unexpected , to be told that a few of the fans that came up here last season have switched to follwing the Scorpions . Looks like I will be holding onto Rob's Cru scarf , and the CC badge that I bought for him .
So . What do I do with a Celtic Cru badge ?
