| He's a backrower, but I presume he would play prop in League. He's a good ball runner, hits the line at pace and is a big lad. The one thing that probably makes it improbable is wages - probably on a fair bit in union as he's a British Lion, would imagine he'd need to take a cut to go to the Crusaders.

I believe he is on £140,000.

| Cardiff Blues may look to offload him if a deal can be done and the player agrees to move to the Crusaders.
hes on mega bucks but out of favour due to his golf-buggy ride on the M4

44411_1300461926.png Iolo wrote. You must be confusing me with jannerboyuk, [...] he is also crucrusaders and I strongly suspect he is traffic as well.
Iolo. My mum is dead actually
Thanks for that
Scooter Nik. Yeah right. Of course she is, probably turned up her toes in disgust at having spawned a prat like you:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_44411.png |

| Not sure isn't the wc next autumn if he comes over it will have to be the start of next season or the season after. If and it's a big if he goes to the wc the across he'll have no club from may/June for next year until feb. A) would the WRU allow a disgraced player back in a welsh top for the WC. And b) a guy who is defecting? If he plays the wc he won't come over for years if at all

| Arlie......Could really be on for 3 reasons
1) Welsh rugby has fallen out of love with Powell, who was seen as a superstar a few years back - His mad-cap antics off the field plus hes struggling with his form for Cardiff and Wales. He is also seen not to be earning his mega-bucks salary anymore
2) Powell does move from club to club every few years and so a move wouldn't worry him. Hes played in France as well ( and England ) .
3) Brian Noble has said he feels Powell would do the business in league. Widnes tried to sign Powell years ago when he first came on the scene (He used to play for my club, Newport when he first started and was incredible running with ball )
(( also my mate's a rugby journalist in Wales and he feels all the signs point to Powell moving ))

| Latest I have heard is that Powell had a heart to heart with Dai Young - Cardiff coach - who said Powell would be first in line for his favourite No 8 position next season.
Now lets see if Gatland picks Powell for welsh summer tour. Thing is Powell does has another year left on his contract
