Quote tb="tb"But can you undertand wny people from Yorkshire, Lancasgire, Middlesex, Glasgow, Birmingham etc might take offence at it?
"Taffs" and "jocks" are slightly different than "Yorkies" and "Limeys", and running it close, imho.
If you have difficulty seeing the difference, consider this though: "Yorky" add "Limey" – or "boyo" for that matter – aren't generally used as a derogatory and racist term of abuse while kicking somoene's head in for having the temerity to live in the country they were born in. Pakky is.
taking exception to racist insults isn't 'political correctness gone mad' IMnaaHO. Though I can see where you'd get confused if you can't tell the difference between fellow Britons and people from a foreign country – purely on the basis of their skin colour.
The trouble is, when you feel the need to add that about yourself, it usually leads to the opposite conclusion …'"
Not getting into an argument over this one,as this is a rugby forum, but I will say once again I am not racist,I have two friends who are "black",but you think what you like as I don`t have to defend myself to you.
Oh,and by the way,I have never kicked anybodies head in.
