It will be interesting to see Noble coach on a limited budget. He's never had to worry about that before. But with low gates I wouldn't expect Celtic to spend too much (unless bailed out by the RFL to make this experiment work).

It sounds like all that is left on offer is players that nobody wants. If Noble can use that as a motivational tool then some of the players still out there could be Gems. Alternatively it could be a disaster.

Looks to me that the RFL are throwing £ at the Crusaders.

They go from massive financial concerns in 2009 to employing Noble and sharp (& Harris) to replace Dixon!! And replacing 'cheap quota' players with more expensive alternatives. The RFl are desperate for CC not to fail so £ is likely to be made available.

McGoldrick pretty much on his way to you from what I've heard. Certainly a 'creative spark', will be missed by many but not by many others!
Noble has always rated him, tried to sign him for Wigan but couldn't fit him under their cap (never stopped them before, I know).
