Salahaddin and Richard (or greatx45 UNCLE Richard as I call him) never ever actually met in battle.

The Crusaders took most of where they attacked (and were quite brutal about it), but Uncle Rich chose not to attack Jerusalem. Salahaddin was not inside either.

Right, firstly, our mutual friend Firefly posted a message on the Wigan board something along the lines of ' does anyone want to talk about todays game '... so I responded.

Then I came on here and made a jokey post that was the first thing that came into my head about crusaders.... I even put a at the end of it. Thought to myself, I havent spoken to any Crusaders fans on the forum before, why not give it a go.

So, our mutual friend, responded to that in a most high handed manner, firstly criticising my knowledge of history, then giving me a lecture about it, then having a go at my spelling !
