He's a backrower, but I presume he would play prop in League. He's a good ball runner, hits the line at pace and is a big lad. The one thing that probably makes it improbable is wages - probably on a fair bit in union as he's a British Lion, would imagine he'd need to take a cut to go to the Crusaders.
i hope they do sign andy powell and if he has spent time at the stadium and had meetings with the club then maybee it will happen but if there has been a couple of weeks now were there has been no reports of meetings (that i have heard about) maybee it has fell through

Latest I have heard is that Powell had a heart to heart with Dai Young - Cardiff coach - who said Powell would be first in line for his favourite No 8 position next season.
Now lets see if Gatland picks Powell for welsh summer tour. Thing is Powell does has another year left on his contract
