But can you undertand wny people from Yorkshire, Lancasgire, Middlesex, Glasgow, Birmingham etc might take offence at it?



"Taffs" and "jocks" are slightly different than "Yorkies" and "Limeys", and running it close, imho.

If you have difficulty seeing the difference, consider this though: "Yorky" add "Limey" – or "boyo" for that matter – aren't generally used as a derogatory and racist term of abuse while kicking somoene's head in for having the temerity to live in the country they were born in. Pakky is.

Not getting into an argument over this one,as this is a rugby forum,but I will say once again I am not racist,I have two friends who are "black",but you think what you like as I don`t have to defend myself to you.

All joking aside though, I sincerely doubt that Barton Baird is a racist. There is no evidence to support that theory so best left alone IMO.
