On a balanced view, I personally do not think that Mr Perry has brought a lot to the team. A journeyman player and no star or advancement of a team who were going places until his arrival. Even the French supporters argue that their preference would be Bosc at 6 and Mogg at 7. I tend to agree with their views.

I think we all think that 6&7 should not include Perry. If we're keeping Bird we need to think about Bird and Mogg as centre an half ...

For me Mogg needs to be in 3/4, JPB is doing an OK job but his defence is lacking for me, one problem for me is the way we are defendng on the flanks, now we have always been weak defensively on the flanks IMO and we always seemed to defend compressed, but ATM its is so not working its not funny.

For me, Thomas at half, Bird at 5/8, with Moggy & Bell at centre. I think this combo would do the trick

Bell & Duport. The latter is not a winger and should stop being told to play there. If they needed a winger that badly they should have done more to get the perfectly reasonable Younes Khattabi to stay.

in fairness to walters, the idea was to change the half back combination at wakefield to bosc and mogg, but moggs late withdrawal left him reverting back to peryy and bosc!

They also have a French international at UTC who could fill in on the wing.
