I'm happy with the line up. Most of the side have had the hit out against the Knights and you would be surprised to see France play badly at home. The sides weakest link has been dropped and I think I'm happier with Seb Raguin being used, presumably in the forwards now he is on the bench. I'm even happy about Greg at 9 again but France must use Eloi correctly, he went really well last week and is capable of damage late in the half when he runs at the more tired big boys. Hopefully Bosc and Chisholm will play split and this will give France more options on both sides of the ruck too

Gotta say that young French player who came on in the second half of the France-England friendly is a real gem. A natural rugby league player if ever there was one. Hope to see him in the Dragons first team next season.

Well, hope to because it's great to see a natural player play but he could cause endless problems for my team next season if he does play!

Pelissier? He's played a bit of first team this year. Hopefully he goes well next year too.

Eloi has played regularly all season coming on for Hendo in all the home games except the Wires game IIRC - he has been outstanding and started off as a scrawny lad and beefed up into a pocket dynamo with so much natural ability and a good rugby brain - it seems totally incredible he isn' the no.1 choice hooker for the french team...he reminds me lot of a young Luke Robinson and will become hot property in te next couple of years IMO

I dont see why its so incredible. Greg has one a great job in the heart of the fieldin defence. A player like pelissier is the kind of guy you want going at the tired forwards later in the half. the incredile thing for me was it took 38 of waiting for Pelissier to come on.

no criticism of Greg - he's had a great season as captain & leader as well as looking solid wherever Trent has asked him to play but Eloi is the natural first choice hooker - we all witnessed the difference in tempo and imagination he brought to the side

the big dissappointment for me was the total neagtivity in tactics with Thomas kicking a penanlty (and missing) early doors when the french had the iniative and the obvious choice was to play the ball and go for the six points

can't imagine Bobby ever doing that in his playing days so why try it as a coach ?
