He was moved out of position to 9 (playing effectively as a dummyhalf) for club and country, but he's a creative, dynamic playmaker who would thrive in RL. Michalak helped set up rla try that dumped the New Zealand All Blacks out of RWC 2007rl, scored rlthis try in RWC 2003rl, and rla good one for Toulouserl.

He'd have more time on the ball in RL due to the 10m rule. The defences in Rugby Union are right on top of the playmakers.

Ask Tony Smith and Ali Lauitiiti, second rowers as props do not work! Last year, Big Dane was playing 2nd Row, Lock or Wing - as good as he is (and I rate him very highly) he is not a prop

Grrreat... just about 12 months too late. He lost the fat as was demanded by McGuire and then found himself able to play more minutes but unable to break through the line as easily as last year. His cause hasn't been helped by Coley, O'Carroll, Prescott, Mossop and even Fielden upping their game.

No offence meant to the guy but it was obvious we needed a prop when we re-signed Seb Martins, hes a worker but no better than a championship player IMO.




I agree, the guy has played in the game at the very highest level, the majority of it in the back row, but since we have 18 million back rowers at the club theyre playing all over the place
