Well done Catalans' kids and supporters at Headingley on Friday. Great to see your touring teams enjoying the game and contributing so well to the atmosphere. Kept singing even when the result was in no doubt( and not a hint of the drunkenness and trouble that is so often associated with away supporters from the OP's home town.)

When you're a good French who contributes to SL, manual.

-Pay a flight every week. The game is on a sunday and you'll miss the monday at work? It's not important, you contribute to the SL.
-Book a hostel in some superb cities. Who didnt dream to have a night in Hull, Widnes or Wakefield? You only live once!
-Pay your game ticket, the food and extras

And do it 13 times (without the cup and the play offs)

Congrats, YOU ARE A REALLY GOOD FRENCH RUGBY LEAGUE FAN. You don't have a job, but you can spend £150 twice times a month when it's not three times. 

I went to the Saints - Catalans game in Widnes, Leeds Saints at Old Trafford last october, and Saints Catalans in Langtree Park. I missed 3 days of school and spent a lot, I can talk. 

Ps: I've nothing against Hull, Widnes or Wakefield, they just don't make me dream.

I think what seems to have been a Catalans policy of not buying English players has been a mistake.

They would have a much bigger English following if they had consistantly had 5 or 6 English players rather than 5 or 6 from Aus and NZ. It would also help with player networks etc.

A very good response Tom, i think Sunset is being a bit unfair, i bet he probably lives in the North of England, where travel is not much of a problem in terms of distance. I used to live in the North but now live in Dover, im nearer to France than any ground in the North, but i follow my team when i can, for me its a 600 mile drive round trip, so theres the cost of fuel, wear and tear on the car, match tickets, food, overnight hotel stay, so i understand exactley what you are saying and i agree with you.
